À propos de moi
As a true epicurean, Michel created Le Chapia in May 2021 to offer you the best of Oléron, the Criée du Port de la Cotinière and our province.
We propose a continuous service from 11:30 a.m., local tapas, pintxos from the chef, plates of charcuterie & cheeses from Auvergne or Marennes Oléron oysters for moments of sharing and new memories.
A wise man said that you recognize a good address when the glass of wine is bigger than the glass of water. The Chapia is nearly 50 wine references! Discover our surprising cocktails with Pineau d'Oléron or the Spritz oléronais and many surprises.
Oh Hi Aloha!
Le Chapia is where good food and good atmosphere meet.
Come and try the experience!
A place made to share, taste, laugh, discuss, meet...
In short, experience a real moment of gastronomic conviviality, discovering (or rediscovering) seasonal products, the sea and recipes that are both simple and traditional.
In honor of local products and accents of the region, Michel and the whole team will welcome you with good humor.
Here, you can come alone or with others to eat standing at the counter or seated around a high table, on site or to take away.
Sublimated vegetables, tasty dishes of the day, plates to share and a beautiful false simplicity. With a wide selection of quality local spirits and cocktails as well as wines, which can be enjoyed by the glass.
The essential idea of the place being to forget no one!
The freshness, origin and seasonality of the products is the most important thing in the kitchen. Here, there are no rules except to have fun!
We rigorously select all our partners because we are very attached to the quality of our products and their origin.
Do you love charcuterie and cheese boards accompanied by a glass of red?
Or do you prefer to enjoy the oyster platters with a glass of white wine?
Michel will be able to recommend the best products to you because only fair and environmentally friendly distribution channels find favor in his eyes.
Lover of the land and the sea, Michel will tell you about the fish like a fisherman at the auction and will talk with passion about the products he has tasted.
In order to animate his establishment, Michel does not lack imagination and does not hesitate to share his passion for travel and cooking by organizing events around tapas, oyster tastings, wine discovery,... .the main thing is to create a joyful and friendly atmosphere.
For an aperitif, a brunch as sweet as a sea breeze or a dinner with atmosphere, Le Chapia stands out as the new essential stopover on the island of Oléron.
